CEC, is a collaborative of members of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC), Peace Education Working Group (PEWG). The PEWG brings together civil society and strategic education partners (government/academic), creating a global multi-stakeholder platform to build local capacity in regions and countries in collaboration with Ministries of Education and other strategic education partners. Jennifer C. Batton, Principle of CEC and Co-Chair of the GPPAC, Peace Education Working Group, has 25 years experience in the field of peace and conflict education. This includes working with over 600 schools, 73 colleges/universities, and hundreds of government agencies and non-profits across the U.S. and in 23 countries around the globe. She builds the capacity for individuals and organizations to effectively manage and address conflict and differences in the classroom, within their educational institutions and in the greater community.
